I have been seeing Dr. Hanson for around 10 years now. He has done surgery on me and my child. I can only say great things about Dr. Hanson! He is kind, he is caring, he talks to us, and he listens! He always has asked us what we think! I like that as he doesn't just bark orders. I know he has to be on some kind of time frame, but he doesn't ask like it. Dr. Hanson answered all my questions and gave me option.
He immediately started working on my problems.
I cannot evaluate Hanson’s skills because twice I was told a surgery for knee replacement had been scheduled ( first Aug 14 then Aug 15) and twice the assistant dropped the ball and had not actually gotten the surgery scheduled even though I had been given the dates in writing. I left voicemails and messages on the portal at Hansons office with no response. The day before the surgery (Aug 15)I was desperate to get information. Had both knee and shoulder problems repaired. Excellent results. Staff has always been efficient and friendly.
Waiting time in office to see Dr. Hanson ridiculous. He spent all of 5 minutes after waiting an hour and 15minutes for him to come to the room. He seemed to be slightly rushed explained to me what he believes is wrong and quickly sends you on your way to get more testing done. So if you are looking for good bedside manner he is not the guy. Is he polite yes. (No apologies for my wait time though). Can't say what I think at this point but Maybe it was because I was irritated from waiting so long. He is very personable & easy to talk to. He has only given my shots to reduce the pain in my knee. I think that process has probably come to an end, as the pain returned w/in 3 days. He is hard to reach no email address; & he doesn't return phone calls.
Great doctor! I had both hips replaced within 3 months and everything went just great. I highly recommend Dr. Hanson.
