No! I had a painful bump in the ball of my foot. After a rude greeting by the doc we talked a bit before he suggested my toes should be shortened so the joints would line up with the joint in my big toe! Seriously?! I'm 70 yrs old and you want to cut my toes off? He said he would wait 6 mos. because, unlike other doctors who need the $$, he doesn't do unnecessary surgery -his father paid for his schooling and set him up in business so he doesn't "have any bills". My problem was fixed by my GP.
