The lack of professionalism was evident from the beginning. I arrived before my scheduled appointment time, and still waited for an hour to be seen. Dr. Hatfield presented with ZERO bedside manner. He refused to look at my YEAR of documentation that I provided to assist with any diagnoses. I have waited FIVE MONTHS to be seen by this “specialist”. Never and I mean NEVER, go to this person who dares to call himself a doctor. It’s absolutely TERRIFYING to me that he has students. (I learned this as he was basically saying I was a freak show & saying how he was just telling his students how they never see cases like mine anymore) I have seen HUNDREDS of doctors in the 16yrs since I became sick and he is in 2nd place for the worst doctor ever. Corey Hatfield, should not have Dr. before his name. My 1st visit with him in April 2024 was at the Arthritis Center on Waller Ave. He questioned me why I was there for an appointment with him and why my PC had referred me to the center. I told him due to vasculitis in toes. He never examined me and I realized he never read my medical history. He ordered a chest xray and sent me for blood labs. I had 25 vials of blood drawn. I had my first appointment with Dr. Hatfield yesterday, based on all the bad reviews I read I was nervous. He has been one of the best doctors I’ve seen, he was very thorough and explained everything. He did 23 tubes of bloodwork to test for anything autoimmune, I have a follow up in 3 months.
