Pleasant gentleman. Got cortisone shot for trigger finger. No one mentioned this would cause a days-long increase in my blood sugar levels, since I'm diabetic. Also, he seemed to be angling for me to have a surgery.
Dr. Maheshwer takes his time with me, answers all questions I have for him and asked me a lot of questions about my situation. Very pleased with him and would recommend him to family and friends.
Went to see Dr for trigger finger. I found him very concise with good explanations of everything. Spent time speaking to me before surgery so I felt comfortable and spoke to my husband afterward. Everything was exactly as he said it would be. did not find him arrogant as some have indicated. He seems very confident. Need to go back again for the other hand this time, sigh. Will definitely be using this Dr again.
Will be filing a complaint with the medical board.
Did get a same day appointment. After filling out paperwork waited at least 30 minutes to take my son back and then another 45 minutes until the Dr. came in but not until I came out of the room to ask how much longer and all of the sudden he appeared to do the 30 second exam. Never introduced himself to either of us. You make appointments for a reason. My time is just as important as yours is.
Horrible surgeon. He performed my husband's surgery improperly while infection was present. This gave a path for a serious infection to spread right into the bone. The necessary antibiotics killed his kidneys, went on dialysis, had to have 2 more surgeries to fix the mess up with severe pain and death. Terrible experience. I would never recommend him to anyone. Many of the other surgeons in this practice are highly rated. I learned a valuable lesson on checking out the surgeons first.
Worst, most arrogant Dr. ever! Did not listen when I indicated I retore the tendon. Refused to give me an MRI and then 'fired' me as a patient when I went for a second opinion.
