At 26/27 years of age hurt my lower back as a lineman - fusion L4/L5/S1 at the age of 27 in 2001 later L2&L3 DDD & spinal stenosis- I took pain pills, and pushed on to provide for my family- I was pulling a MH lid and hurt something at T-10 level- after 2 epidural's, facet ablation- all temp relief at best- had trial- then refereed to Dr. Metzger had permanent implant Feb 15th 2018 - two weeks out I could not believe how I felt. GAME CHANGER - I am so thankful for Dr. Metzger
Dr Metzger has been both my, and my husband's doctor. He performed operations on my husband to combat stenosis, as well as performing laminectomy. He also implanted spinal cord stimulator(s) on my husband for his stinosis pain, and on myself for pain from a motor vehicle accident 11years ago. I trust Dr Metzger like no other. When you've gone through the procedures we did, you learn Dr Metzger was the only one in Pensacola able to address my husband's issues safely effectively.
Where do I begin? Never had a single problem with my back prior to three years ago and then Wham!! With no warning I began to get periodic back pain which became constant and the pain from the nerve endings sometimes seemed to wrap around to the sides and front. Pain Management (Dr. Buchalter) did all they could for me before referring me to Dr. Metzger. Dr. Metzger performed a Laminectomy and relief was immediate! To this day, no pain. I give him five stars because he earned them!!
