Went to this doctor's office for an appointment at 11:15am, I was early. The took me back to a room to wait. Waited for long enough, I saw 2 episodes of Chicago PD. Someone comes in at 11:42am and says, "she will be right with you.." 12:01pm the nurse practitioner comes in and does my exam in less than 6min and I'm out. This is the longest to have waited for anyone, that wasn't even the doctor. To add insult, they charged me for a procedure I didn't get done. Hi, I thought Dr. Christy Walker was a nice, caring person, as a gynecologist she was mostly ok. but she is also a plastic surgeon certified, I trusted her and her team but they did not provide me the right information. Instead of doing a tummy tuck I wanted to try a new procedure called Body Tight. Dr and her team said many times I would be a good candidate for it, since I lost lots of weight but have access skin on my abdominal area. I had high hopes for Dr. Christy Walker. Especially since I took my time researching tediously to try and find a new OBGYN (African American). My overall experience was HORRIBLE. I came to Dr. Walker's office for a somewhat medical emergency. I sat in the waiting room for 1 hour which was frustrating but I let it go. Finally getting to the room I waited on the doctor another 25 minutes. I get doctors are busy and things happen. Dr. Walker's bedside manner is not the best. Excellent care!! She is very detailed when explaining everything. She breaks things down and makes sure you understand. She is very responsive and always avails herself. She is extremely professional.
Have been going to Dr. Walker for 13yrs now. No complaints at all. Very attentive, knowledgeable, patient, and understanding. Never been in her office and had to wait along time or ever been rushed to get in and out. I moved 1hr away and will still continue to go to her. If you find a good patient, and knowledgeable doctor keep them.
Dr. Walker is an AMAZING physician and surgeon! She always explains my treatment needs and answers ALL my questions. I never feel rushed and appreciate her time and patience. Her office is in a great location and her office staff is always helpful. Dr. Walker is very knowledgeable and truly cares. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Christy Walker.
