I’ve had 3 surgeries in 15 years by Or overseen by Dr. Abood and on each occasion he has saved me from the condition I was presenting at the time. On one occasion he and his team discovered a problem that several other hospital doctors had missed. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Abood more highly!
Dr. C Abood did a fantastic job, the pain that was a 9-10 level is completely gone. I was on a high dosage of narcotic meds and have not needed them since my surgery. His nurse Barb was also very helpful.
Diagnosed with a spinal tumor, I was referred by my primary care physician to Dr. Abood. I received an appointment within one week of referral and had surgery scheduled 11 days later at Sparrow Hospital. Dr. Abood is very caring in nature and an outstanding surgeon. The staff is friendly and wait times are short, would highly recommend this surgeon for a broken back.
I saw Dr Abood for my carpal tunnel. The surgery went great and I am back to normal.
Dr. Abood saw my daughter about her back pain. He was very thorough and attentive. He recommended therapy and she is much better.
After writing in my husbands medical record in the er that he had inconsistent medical exams and give away leg syndrome, basically calling him a liar. So long story short after all the suffering my husband's has had to deal with he ended up having to go and see another surgeon in Chicago not just because of the insurance issue but because aboods opinions where wrong. I highly recommend Dr. Abood! My years of back pain finally got me to the point where I couldn't even go to work. After much research, I chose to see Dr. Abood, and I'm so glad I did. Some reviews I've seen say he's not friendly - I didn't find that to be true. He is to the point, but he's kind and an excellent surgeon. My surgery was nine months ago, and while I still have some pain, I'm off all my pain medications! I do not say this lightly, but Dr. Abood really did give me my life back.
My family Doctor referred me for my back pain. I felt like he listened to me and recommended physical therapy. It worked and I am doing better.
