This IS a clinic. They are busy. Given the overall condition of health care in Ontario, it's understandable that appointments are fairly quick. Having said (and experienced) that, I found Dr. Gin attentive to my concerns. In fact, while experiencing debilitating joint pain, he not only ordered and followed up on various blood tests and imaging, he then managed to get me a very early appt with a rheumatologist, the outcome of which brought immediate relief to a mystifying condition. I see some old negative reviews here that I don't really understand. I've been coming here for a while now, and there are no problems with either the admin staff (who are very friendly and helpful) or the doctor. Don't let those negative reviews put you off.
Would give zero stars if I could. The medical support I got from Dr Gin, Dr Swati, and Dr O'Brien before them, was harmful and what I would consider to be medical gaslighting. I spent almost a year being told that my covid symptoms were anxiety, having to call for weeks just to get test results, and basically shrugged off because they couldn't see anything wrong with my blood tests. I am very, very, very disappointed with my visit today. Felt like Dr. Christopher Gin just wanted to get a read of me as quickly as he could. My ears have been itching for the past three months. The doctor said to put a cream. He just looked once inside my ear to come up with that" Your skin is very dry".
