If anyone has a spine issue I highly recommend Dr Gillis. So impressed with his approach. Dr Gillis is a VERY talented neurosurgeon. He has a really sweet disposition, and discusses in depth your pain, and what kind of outcome to expect. I cannot speak highly enough of my spine surgeon, Dr. Christopher Gillis. From my very first consultation through the entire post‑operative journey, I felt heard, supported, and genuinely cared for.He took the time to explain every step of the process in clear, reassuring detail, never rushing me and always making sure I understood what to expect. In addition, he was whole compassionate and attentive staff.
I was a patient of Dr. Gillis 5 years ago, and I was very happy with the result. However, recently, I re-injured myself and I required another surgery, which was done in a very professional manner. And I was very happy with the result, . I am now 2 months post surgery. And I'm feeling wonderful. I recommend the practice and the doctor very highly. if I would need any of the other consults, or any surgeries, I will definitely go to them as my first stop.
I find Dr Gillis to be very thorough and answer all my questions during my visits. I appreciate that he reviews the MRI discs instead of relying on a radiologist report. I will feel confident if I ever need surgery to have Dr Gillis perform it.
