I've seen him for 30 years after trying several other psychiatrists. He is caring and thorough. He follows up with personal calls. I highly recommend him.
Love this doc! I was in a pretty bad place some time ago (around my 2nd year of middle school) when I was referred to him by my regular therapist. I am now in my senior year of college, feeling great, and excited to take on my future. He actually inspired me to apply to medical school to become a psychiatrist myself!
My son was in a bad place a few years ago, and meeting Dr Masi turned his life around. We continue to see him on a regular basis and appreciate his compassion, the amount of time he spends with each patient (yes, you should expect lengthy waiting room visits - especially late in the day. He does not rush anyone through their allotted time) and his follow up. My son's been a patient of Dr. Masi's for about 5 years. He's AMAZING. He's very responsive, very engaged - we were previously with another doc that I felt was cranking out prescriptions as fast as she could write them. Dr. Masi spends time with us, never rushing us through. In fact, there have been plenty of times we've had to wait for our appointment to begin, but I never mind that because I know he's giving that patient 100% of his attention, just like he'll give to us when it's our turn.
