I met with Dr. Chan on 2 appointments. I came in as a new patient. She was with a student doctor (that does not bother me, I rather enjoy seeing people teach others). She was very confrontational and that came off as rude. My prescription was never sent to the pharmacy and took over a week to get that situated. I saw Dr. Chan as a new patient 8/17/17. The doctor spoke to me for approximately 4 minutes and without having any of my medical records informed me that a medication I was on was not one she would allow me to take. She immediately offered me a handful of antidepressants of her choosing in exchange. I did not ask her for any meds. I asked her how she can make such quick decisions without knowing anything about me, and she replied I was not a good fit for her or her practice. BAD DOCTOR!!! Shame
Dr Chan has been my personal physician for the last 18yrs. She's always pleasant and attentive to my needs. She has made time to see me when she herself was so backed up with patients. When I've seen her out in public away from the office setting she always takes a moment to say hello and ask how I'm doing. I would recommend her to all my friends and family members. She's a wonderful doctor and I wish there were more like her around. We've shared some laughs and hugs when they were needed.
