He is one of the best doctors I've ever seen. He has done all four of my surgeries and I wouldn't go to anyone else. He takes time to explain things to you. Also, his staff are some of the nicest people I've ever met. Him and his staff make sure that you are comfortable and understand what's going on. He also makes sure your treatment is based upon just you, he doesn't have a one size fits all approach. Highly recommend him over any other Doctor.
Hope-A-Long...That's what people call me now,Because I have a permanent limp like a 3 legged horse,thanks to Dr.Vissers horrible knee replacement skills! Promise I'm telling the truth,I feel responsibility to inform future patients,so they won't SUFFER at his irresponsible practices! He fails to provide proper aftercare due to an overload of patients! He personally told me I don't have to return your calls after forgetting to get my P.T. 21/2 months after my replacement...cold&fake&uncaring!
Dr Vissers performed my ACL/Meniscus surgery and I am grateful that I chose him. My results were not typical, according to my physical therapist. I required about 25% of the prescribed pain medication, and excelled in rehabilitating the knee, with a much faster recovery time than even I anticipated. To be fair I am a semi-active 26 year old and I followed every instruction, but I truly believe that the quality of life I experience is due to the proficiency of Dr Vissers. THANK YOU!
The wait time each visit is over 2 hours. Anytime I know I have a visit, I know the rest of my day is ruined. I understand there will be a wait at any appointment, but over 2 hours in my opinion is not acceptable. As much as I need surgery, I feel more comfortable seeking a second opinion and going to a doctor whom I think truly cares about the patients. With most doctors I feel some connection or compassion... Not once have I felt that from Dr. Visser. Competent,yes! Just cold and uncaring.
