I called to make appointment to have a tooth pulled, was told it wouls cost $275.00..I paid when I got there and filled out paper work to show I had a tooth ach and wanted it pulled..I then had several x-rays and then saw the hygenest and told her my tooth hurt..wanted it pulled..she went to talk to the doctor, come back and said the doctor said the tooth could be saved with root canal..I'm 75! can't afford root canal..then I was told they don't pull teeth! doctor sent word I could keep using orajel!!! so I left out $275.00 ... read more
Dr. Spann and her team are phenomenal!! They have worked with me on an extensive treatment plan and have exceeded all expectations. My kids love coming here too. They used to be so anxious about the dentist, but not any more. I would definitely recommend Dr Spann and her awesome team to anyone needing a dentist.
Treats Medicaid patients differently then private insurance Medicaid patients are only seen on Thursdays the office is very overflowing that day no where to sit had to stand to wait on my kids. She gives out junk toothbrushes no floss or toothpaste to Medicaid patients. But makes sure to do as much work as possible to get a big Thursday Medicaid pay out! Beware! Someone who worked for her told me she gives out different toothbrushes to private insurance patients vs Medicaid patients.
Excellent staff. Always friendly and accomadating to my busy life. My four children actually look forward to going to the dentist.
Dr. Spann overbills for work performed. If your insurance doesn't pay what she wants, you will get a bill for the rest. Additionally, she will perform work or use more expensive materials you did not ask for at the time because she thinks you need it whether you want it or not. And you of course will get a bill for that too. And if you are unable to keep an appointment for any reason at all, even if an emergency, you will get a bill for a missed appointment of at least $350.00.
A wonderful dentist that truly loves her profession. She was so sweet to my family. All the office staff were genuinely happy to be there and to be taking care of patients. Which is hard to find. So happy we chose to come here
