had an anterior hip replacement done 6 weeks ago. Dr. Kraushaar did an excellent job. My recovery is going very well. Would highly recommend him and the anterior approach.
my elderly mother put off knee replacement surgery for a long time. finally had it done last year and was very happy with Dr. Kraushaar. If she needs her right knee done too she will definitely go back to Dr. Kraushaar.
Dr Kraushaar is an exemplary physician who takes his time with his patients, is keenly skilled and and also has a "bedside manner" that makes painful situations bearable. No matter what their speciality, Dr. Kraushaar is by far the finest doctor I have ever been to. I also have to add that the staff, from the people who schedule your appointment to the radiologist and the assistants, everyone is professional, attentive and kind. Too bad there isn't a en star rating!
When my 3 year old son broke his arm in two places, the ER referred me to Dr. Kraushaar. Despite my son being scared and uncooperative at times, Dr. Kraushaar was excellent. He took so much time out for us, and really showed that he cared. I was so happy the ER referred us to him! He just showed so much compassion and professionalism. Having had knee surgery a year and a half ago, I have found myself bristling of late when I think back on my experience with Dr. Kraushaar-- Setting aside, for the moment, that I found his professional behavior abhorrent, the surgery itself has had a cosmetic flaw, in that I have a muscular depression in my leg..."Oh well, I'm not going to win Mr. Olympia." I am sorry that your expectations of care were not met. It appears that a misunderstanding occurred. During a consulation, prior to our newer EMR system, I would dictate my patient notes into a dictaphone, while still with the patient. I believed it gave patients the opportunity to stop me and ask questions. I would also sometimes pause to ask them further details about the case. I am sorry if this irritated you. I have be going to Dr. Kraushaar for years for a variety of joint issues associated with my RA including several joint replacements. He has given me my life back on more than one occasion. Not only is he knowledgeable and experienced, but he truly cares about his patients well being and goes above and beyond to see to it that their needs are met. I would highly recommend him to anyone is need of orthopedic care.
Was very pleased with the knowledge of the physician and the care I received.
Took me weeks to get an appointment. There was a 3 hours wait. Once inside, he mocked my primary doctor whom have I been with for several years. He ridiculed me as a patient. Despite telling me that the treatment my primary MD recommended and the self care treatments I was preforming were both wrong, he offered no guidance as to what would be the correct form of treatment.
