Timely visit. Dr Herdman listened to description of issues discussed possible causes and came up with logical treatment plan

This was a follow visit as Dr. Herdman caught my cancer back in 2013. He was so great that by the time I woke up from anesthesia, he had already made me an appointment with a Surgeon for the next day which was a Friday. That Doctor was also amazing and that coming Monday a foot of my colon was removed with the cancer cells. I would not go anywhere else as I believe that Dr. Herdman saved my life.
Routine colonoscopy. Dr Herdman and his staff were very informative, helpful, caring and understanding. I can hardly wait to do it again!

The initial zoom meeting had me thinking the doctor was a bit gruff on bedside manner, but the procedure went great and I loved all the nurses and anesthesiologist that morning.
Dr. Herdman, made me feel very comfortable in my first visit. We agreed that my symptoms did not necessarily require a colonoscopy, but since it had been 3 years from my last one and polyps were found it was prudent to take a look since he was not the doctor that had done my previous one. Colonoscopy went smoothly and I felt well taken care of. I feel very comfortable having him as my GI doc and highly recommend him to anyone looking for one.
I would highly recommend Dr. Herdman for a colonoscopy. I had absolutely no awareness that anything had been done, whereas in other offices I had postoperative complications.
Dr. Herdman has always been friendly, helpful & very professional. He answers all questions & makes one feel very comfortable.
