My experience with Dr. Garramone was exceptional from start to finish. His receptionist explained everything to me in detail and took the extra time to answer all of my remaining post-op questions. Dr. Garramone was very thorough, professional, and confident. Yes, the surgery is expensive and most insurance will not refund any of it, but Dr. Garramone is the best in the business - so if you can afford him, I highly recommend it. It is no small thing to try and find a top surgeon you can trust and feel safe with. I don’t know what these other negative reviews are about but I can promise you and your loved ones that you will never have a more positive experience than working with Dr. Garramone. Sure, appointments may run late sometimes, as is the nature of doctor’s offices, but he is the most skilled surgeon in this country. This guy and his staff are rude and will nickel and dime you until you have nothing left. They charged my insurance $70,000 for a procedure that was quoted at $12,000-$13,000. Do not trust him or his staff. This is simply a chop shop for them.

My experience with Dr. Garramone was excellent. He did my surgery in Feb. 2017. The pre-op visit was pleasant and informative, the surgery day went very well, and the post op visit also. I did not have nipple grafting after reading about high risk of complications, and at my age at the time, 65, it just isn’t important.

I attended a consultation scheduled for 10:15. I arrived at 10:00, and the doctor saw me at 12:30. During the wait, about 8 other patients were seen, some of them had appointments/consultations scheduled after mine. This doctor does not see patients in order. When confronted about the wait, the receptionists were uncooperative and did not apologize or offer an explanation, they also did not offer water in the waiting room. I had to wait about 2 hours for our pre-op appointment because apparently all the pre-op patients come in around the same time and Dr.G sees them in the order they arrived. A week after the surgery I returned for my post-op appointment. I waited about 45 min to be seen. Dr.G said that everything looked great. He was rushed and didn't spend much time with me. About a week later, I was back in Tx, my right nipple fell off. Dr. G was totally unhelpful with this. Good surgeon, bad patient care.
