I went to Dr. Gordon a few years back. He told me that I didn't need to be sedated in order to have a back injection, I have severe arthritis in my back and it's difficult to find the right spot so in addition to the general pain of the injection my nerves get pretty upset. In addition he told me he will not be in charge of my pain medicine....uhm he is a pain doctor. After much back and forth he dismissed me from his practice. I have had chronic pain for 7/8 years when my symptoms got to the point where I had to quit my job and sell all my horses it was devastating. Iv been to many types of surgeons for my neck and back and a leg surgery scheduled for 2013. Yesterday was my first initial visit and it went very well.
