Apparently this guy decided to cancel my insurance coverage by claiming my hernia surgery should have been done in an outpatient clinic. Him and Carelon decided this AFTER MY PROCEDURE WAS ALREADY DONE. As a simple DO, he's wildly unqualified to make these sorts of decisions. My board certified surgeon is only approved to do surgeries in our local hospital, something that was made perfectly clear to them when submitting the request.
