My doctor left the practice so I was stuck with Dr. Wang. My fears were confirmed on my first visit. She is hard to understand and doesn't listen. She is very accusatory in her delivery, and said I was using my medication to "escape". Excuse me!? Without knowing me or anything about my history how dare she. This was within the first few minutes of our first visit. She then started suggesting changes to my medication routine. Everything is working just fine, I'm well adjusted and I left there with more anxiety than I had befo... read more

I agree with most of the people who have reviewed this doctor. She is very difficult to understand. Does not let you explain your history or experience with medication. And immediately she wanted to change every drug I was on, even though I told her they were working for me. Only went to her because my doctor retired. Well I retired her.

Dr. Wang is hard to understand. She's often wrong about a lot of things a psychiatrist should know. If you mention having tried drugs even once before in your life then two-thirds of every appointment from then on (for months or years) will be like a bad after school special. She's quite misinformed about the benefits of any other treatment options besides (or in conjunction with) medication and seems to believe nothing besides pills can help.

After altering medications and the medications not working out well, the doctor would not return a phone call and left me in limbo for a week without getting in touch with her. There was no one to help me.

Dr. Wang is a HORRIBLE doctor. I only saw her twice and after she told me I could quit taking Seroquel XR cold turkey, I called her to say that I was experiencing withdrawal symptoms. She told me there is no withdrawal from the drug and yelled at me when I told her once again (very calmly and politely) that I was experiencing withdrawal symptoms. I was feeling very scared about the withdrawal and she shouted at me like a maniac. I will never go back to her again.

She asked me questions for initial consultation and interrupted me before I could complete a sentence. She also raised her voice at me multiple times when I began explaining past experiences or diagnoses from other doctors. She is also very difficult to understand. She does not listen nearly enough to provide a correct diagnosis or medication to her patients. Please avoid wasting your time with this doctor. I literally had to walk out of her office because she would not stop yelling at me.
