I have the misfortune of needing a cystoscopy on a regular basis. My experiences with Dr. Alonzo have all been positive. She is caring, extremely professional, and thorough. I was distraught to learn she had left this practice.

Dr. Alonzo shows no compassion nor does she provide any assurance that she can help you. If you are a woman I suggest going elsewhere. She has no patience, interrupts and the phone just rings and rings if you have a question. Apparently they don’t use voicemail. She also seems to feel pelvic PT doesn’t work, despite evidence to the contrary. She’d rather just do invasive procedures.

RUDE, Judgmental, Dismissive, Condescending, ZERO compassion. My 19-year old daughter has been trying to navigate and get to the bottom of extremely uncomfortable symptoms for over 7 months. She is a college student who lives in Greenwich, but goes to school in California. Dr Alonzo was practically annoyed she was there. She interrupted my daughter when she tried to explain, she was annoyed that she had seen other doctors (in California) and had ZERO interest in helping her. Couldn't be bothered. I want to ask De Alonzo’s help and couldn’t wait for someone to answer my phone call. Briefly, I had a CTScan at the ER at Greenwich Hospital. They decided the constant pain is caused by arthritis in the lower back. Not so, says the spinal surgeon. Could the pain be coming from the kidneys? Could you examine the CTScan for me? A total nightmare! Uncaring, bad attitude, consistently cold, rude and dismissive. Good doctors are warm, interested, and engaged and will take the time to make you feel comfortable. I went to see this doctor because of reoccurring UTI's. I was in horrible pain. I gave a urine sample. The next day, I was informed that my urine was never sent out to be tested! I was livid and called another urologist!

I had been going to an Urologist in Stamford for years that kept patients waiting at least an hour and once seen he was cold and too clinical so I switched to Dr. Alonzo. What a difference! She saw me within minutes of my scheduled time. She didn’t rush me, she was kind and thoughtful and very professional. And her follow up is extremely impressive. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Alonzo is a amazing physician and is very thorough. She spent so much time with me and I felt that I was in the best hands as possible. After being diagnosed with bladder cancer I was so scared and she went above and beyond. Her staff was very warming and helpful to me as well. Best Doctor I have seen !!

Dr Alonzo is the kindest and most caring Doctor that I have. She has helped me out physically and emotionally. I would highly recommend her to anyone that needs a good urologist. She takes her time with you, makes you feel comfortable and most of all listens to your concerns. She has a very soothing bedside manor and understands that our problems are real. I have been seeing her for two years and I trust in all that she has helped me with. She has changed my life for the better in so many ways.
