I went to see Dr. Bartman for a total hip replacement. I brought a list of supplements I was taking and a list of questions. He was generally polite and took time with me but he laughed off the supplements, making a joke about one which showed he knew nothing about nutrition. Three times I asked him if he does the anterior approach THR and THREE times he said yes. Dr Bartman just did knee surgery on my husband, he was supose to come to the hospital, remove bandage & let my husband go home yesterday, nurses called him several times, he finnally showed at 4:30 ( not noon wh he was supose to) dirty clothes on I asked if he'd be cleaning his yard, I should have said get away from my husband. He had been out horse back riding & hunting he said, he did not was in or out. I have been a patient of DR. Bartman for 4 different surgeries since 1996..all of which have recovered well.He is very grounded and to the point. He explains the options,possible outcomes in a very calm manner and speaks in a understandable clarifying manner.He has an excellent dedicated staff that can be very crucial on your recovery. Casey Bartman misdiagnosed my torn ACL not once, but TWICE! Even the radiologist noted it on their report, but apparently Bartman didn't bother to read it. In my opinion, his office did not use the latest technology in diagnosing issues either. He still relies on X-ray films when others in the field have moved on to better solutions. I would not recommend Casey Bartman to anyone for any type of medical treatment.
referred by previous dr, dr. bartman has been extremely helpful, open to questions, good about letting me decide what steps to take next. Very plesed.
Dr. Bartman is very arrogant. He took over for my previous orthopedic surgeon when he retired. However, Dr. Bartman did not seem to have reviewed my records before seeing me for the first time. Also, he was not willing to treat me the same as my previous doctor did even though it has worked well for me for more than 30 years!!! I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR TO ANYONE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!!
