From the walk-in to the surgery, Dr Hughes and his staff were respectful and kind to me and my husband. The waiting area was full of aromatherapy essential to being in a comfortable state. Then when it came to my 4 extractions, the 2 assistants told me step by step what they were doing and asked me if I had any concerns. Of course I was nervous but Dr Hughes including the assistants kept me at ease. I woke up after a good nights rest and had to call my family and friends about my experience!

I don't know......My child had his wisdom teeth removed. That went fine. It is my opinion that the doctor gave him too many numbing injections in his mouth. The injections are given after the patient is asleep. Doctor wants the patient numb for 12 hours after the surgery. This caused more post surgical pain than the removal of the teeth. He bit his tongue repeatedly & could not eat nor drink. This office accepts Medi-cal, but they don't ask if you have it when the appt is scheduled.
