Dr Penrose went out of her way to schedule an appointment for my wife to check a worrisome mole that looked like it might be a problem. She got us in a couple of days after my call. She is a very thorough doctor and would recommend her to my friends and family
Extremely upset with Dr Penrose office- my husband has been a patient of hers for years and unfortunately he missed his appointment (was called into work that morning) which I called and left a message. Since it was not within the 24 hours timeframe they want to charge me $25 for no show. I explained the situation and informed them my husband need to make another appointment. Answer pay the $25 fee and we will make an appointment. Well they lost us as a patient - stay away money mean more to her.
Dr Penrose is thorough and professional . Delighted that she is my dermatologist and highly recommended.

I am a patient of Dr. Penrose. I called her office today, April 15, 2019 to request an emergency appointment. I explained to the receptionist that I had an itchy, sometime painful rash going from the middle of my back to my stomach. I asked to come in today or tomorrow. I was told the next available appointment was May 3, 2019. I said no thanks. I called another dermatologist in the area and was to come in as soon as I could get there. I was diagnosed with Shingles. I will never go back.
this was the first time I saw Dr. Penrose. The experience with her and her staff was extremely satisfying. All my concerns were answered and she checked everything I had issue with.
Last year she moved her practice from Nj to Staten Island, NY. I was so impressed with her after only be a patient for over a year I make a 40 minute drive to see her. Extremely intelligent and compassionate. I’ve recommended 4 friends to her already and all loved her.
