After finding out that Dr. CASTEEN had retired she was kind enough to refer me to California Retina Consultants on 5555 Business Park South, as a matter of fact she called the office manager there on a Sunday afternoon and relayed the critical info that I needed to be seen on Monday, No Excuses! I had a torn retina that needed attention immediately! She told me that if I didn’t hear from them by 10 am to call her and she would call them again to get me in. The 661 663-9090 number has been disconnected--what's the new number?
NOTE: Staff is wonderful, pleasant, friendly, very nice. Office gets CROWDED. Wait time horrible. 3 visits. Wait time: 2 hrs (ok – emergency), 3 hrs w/ appt., 4 hrs w/ appt. Made lame excuse that car wouldn’t start. Take UBER. 3rd visit bizarre. Tried 5 times to talk me into eye exam even though my eye was not ready to be tested. Rambled about non-eye related things. Billing keeps sending bills even though all paid. I will never go again. Why? Long waits, bizarre 3rd visit, billing nightmare.
The wait time is a little long, but once I got in to see Dr. Casteen I understand why. Dr Casteen took time to help me understand exactly what was going on in my circumstance, and I left feeling encouraged and well cared for. She's an awesome doctor and I highly recommend her!
