Dr. Portu and his staff are topflight in every area. Professionalism, courtesy, medical care, and top facilities. I have been a patient for about 15 years, I send everyone I know to Dr. Portu. He has built a team that exceeds by far all other Dr.s in the area.
I am VERY happy to have Doctor Portu and Melissa as my primary care physician group. Knowledgeable and conservative on treatment plans. Spends enough time with their patients to solve their health issues. Their staff is friendly and responds to any request.
The other day with 3 of us positive with Covid it was very nice to do the telehealth video to see and talk almost like being in the office with the nurse practitioner. She heard our symptoms and test results and ordered meds for us. A follow up appointment was set for next week to check up on us. We really like Dr Portu and his staff. They are very caring and efficient.
We are new to Dr Portu but so far everything is great. He’s so nice and listens.
Made an appointment saw Melissa, Dr Portu’s Nurse Practitioner. She is amazing. The staff was wonderful. Looking forward to meeting with Dr. Portu on another visit. So happy I decided to go there.

Professional, calming manner. A good listener, no rushing during visits. Confident in his ability to diagnose, treat and refer out, if needed. Front office staff are polite and pleasant. They try to accommodate appt requests. They return calls and we ve received follow up calls as needed. The gratis coffee/latte machine is great, lol. Seriously though, our family uses him as well as some friends. Always positive discussions about our complaints, ills and issues. Would recommend and have.
If you want a compassionate doctor look no further. Been with doctor portu for three years and always received excellent care.
It was a very nice, comfortable and professional doctor's visit. I was well pleased.
