An elderly family member was diagnosed with cancer and given hope at the hospital that his condition was very treatable. After seeing oncologist Dr. Vidal at Santos Medical Center, he was very sad, hopeless, and said he was discouraged from pursuing treatment and felt like he had months of life remaining.
