The referral requisition form was incomplete.The referral was to the National Rehab Hospital but there was no contact number or person to contact for an appointment. Having a hard time sitting an appointment or getting more info.
My appointment with Dr. Akbari was good. I appreciate him explaining everything in detail and I didn’t feel rush. I also liked that his personality was approachable. I have had experiences in the past with some doctors that I knew it would be my last visit and would look for a new doctor after the appointment. It was not the case with Dr. Akbari.
This was my first visit to Medstar Washington Hospital Center and found it to be a positive experience. I found the staff to be courteous, pleasant, helpful, and attentive. Impressed with the cleanliness of the Vascular Department and main areas. I was very impressed with Dr. Akbari’s physician assistant, can’t remember her name, but found her to be professional and thorough.
