Dr. Edwards became my Nephrologist and Primary care Physician when I moved to Atlanta in 2003. At that time my kidney function was just around 25% and had been decreasing. Doc explained the critical significance of this number and immediately placed me on a renal (protein restrictive) diet and insisted I take other lifestyle changing steps. Dr Edwards is a very knowledgeable patient centric and caring nephrologist. Excellent internist. When I met him I was suppsed to start dialysis He delayed this by 10 years. .
