My first experience with Dr. Mays. He explained the procedure and asked if we had any questions. He was patient and after the colonoscopy he explained the results and any possible health issues. The staff were all professional and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Mays.
Finally, a gastroenterologist who is patient focused, listens and even ask pertinent questions! I dreaded going to schedule a much overdue colonoscopy along with other issues…what a positive and helpful visit and reassuring. I appreciate that Dr. Mays is confident enough as a physician to also point out issues that I chose to discount because I did not want to acknowledge a previous Celiac diagnosis. All of the staff seemed to be genuinely interested in my welfare. They were attentive, compassionate, patient, and expedient at all times.
I was pretty nervous when I went in . I've had plenty of surgeries but, this one made me nervous.. The staff was amazing they were so good at making me feel comfortable. Dr. May's was so sweet and professional. My daughter was so surprised by how quick it was... Thank you.
Dr Mays explains the procedure very well both before and after. He takes his time and doesn’t make you feel as if he is rushing you out the door.
