I made an appt 4 weeks ago for a physical. The day before my appointment, Optum called to confirm my appointment. I was sent a questionnaire to fill out. The morning of my appointment, 1 hour before my appointment, Optum called to tell me that she isn’t accepting new patients and my appointment was cancelled. Always late and she has the gall to charge my son a $25 dollar copay for a so called missed appointment when he cancelled the appointment on their site. If a doctor needs to fleece a young adult for $25 dollars I would avoid her practice. He will be going to my primary physician now.
Quite frankly, if you’re looking for a PCP, stay far, far away from Dr. Riccobono. I’ve stayed with her this long out of necessity, not because I’m getting an useful care by being her patient. I’ve been struggling this year with various sources of pain and Dr. Riccobono is practically unreachable. I was told I was going to get a call back from her office regarding bloodwork after an urgent care visit and that was MONTHS ago. I love her. She takes as much time as you need and answers all of your questions. She’s not an alarmist and runs tests before prescribing meds. I’ve recommended her to many of my friends.
She's too young. She doesn't listen to her patients. I just recently lost my rheumatologist and I'm gonna need her to keep perspiring the meds I'm taking. I very much doubt she will.
