I recently had a hip replacement done by Dr Chimenti. Wow! The recovery was surprisingly simple. I was walking a few hours after I woke up. I was able to go home the next morning. I am 6 weeks from surgery and feel fantastic...life changing. My incision is on the side of my butt/hip and it is a lot smaller than I thought it would be. I have other friends that have had hip replacements done by other doctors & the scar is on the front (anterior?). They didn't recover as fast as I did.
I have had knee pain for many years. I am doing injections now with Dr Chimenti with good success. We have talked about many other options including stem cells and joint replacement surgery, but for now I am happy with my progress. I'm glad Dr Chimenti was so thorough with the options we discussed...didn't feel pressured at all.
My total knee replacement was amazing! Dr Chimenti and his staff were wonderful !

I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Chimenti's expertise & care. His staff is equally friendly & knowledgeable. In fact, Larisa just returned my call to address my questions. Dr. Chimenti has performed right rotator cuff arthroscopy & right knee replacement surgery on me & will soon mend a painful, torn meniscus. I appreciate that he first uses less invasive measures before performing surgery. Thank you Dr. Chimenti for being committed to improving the quality of life of your patients!
The good doctor replaced my knee a few months ago. The total experience was absolutely wonderful. I was very scared initially and had put it off for years. I probably saw at least 5 different Ortho docs over the past few years until I was referred by friends to Dr Chimenti. He did not push me towards surgery but helped me understand my options. When I was finally ready we moved on to the replacement and I haven't looked back since. I wish I would have met him a few years ago!

Dr. Chimenti completed a total knee replacement on my left knee this month. He and his PAs have provided excellent care and outstanding service before, during and after my surgery. He is always patient, answers any and all questions and explains the processes and procedures required. There are, at times, extended waiting times in his office; however, he always takes time to speak with each patient. I will continue to use Dr. Chimenti for any orthopedic issues.
Both my wife and I as well as my sister, father, brother in law, and mother in law have used Dr Chimenti for a variety of issues over the years. All of our interactions with him have been very informative. He is a very compassionate doctor and always spends time explaining everything to us. I would definitely recommend anyone with a bone or joint problem to go see him.
