He was very up front with what else we can try. Started me on a new med, hoping it will work.

This MD is not an IST expert, as he has not done an ablation in these cases in 10+ yrs. After hospitalization for severe chest pain and bradycardia due to a new med he prescribed, he refused to provide advice to the hospitalist in how to adjust meds to fix my heart rate. He did not monitor my implanted loop recorder for 3+ months. An outside cardiologist had to tell me about a new, serious arrhythmia on the ILR. He ignores alerts to manually download the ILR, losing rhythm data during TIAs.

The only difficulty I had with this appointment, was in scheduling it. I first started to try to schedule it in early April; and again at the first of each month thereafter. Each time I was told that the doctor's appointments were already filled for that month, and I needed to wait until the next month. I was only able to finally get the appointment in mid-August when someone else cancelled their spot.
