Dr. Madow is an excellent retina specialist. He calmly and methodically administers care. He gives me all the time I need for asking questions and explains his concerns and my options with clarity and patience. I have seen other ophthalmologists and he is by far the best. He stays updated on all the latest research and cautiously watches the trials to offer me the best of care. First impressions may leave you thinking he is less personable, but hold out. His dedication to his field and his patients will be evident over time.
Calm, gentle & knowledgeable Dr. Allowed as much time as needed. Answered my questions & didn't make me feel as if my concerns were trite. Presented diagnosis in clear jargon. Future actions to be taken discussed. Staff very pleasant (not just a job). Clean pleasant smelling, bright, modern decor. Staff focused on you, no gossipping or non medical activities. VERY enjoyable appt. Short wait, tests quickly performed accurately. Will return.
The office staff is courteous and professional. Dr Madow is experienced, knowledgeable and well qualified. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Madow is a superb, highly trained, highly skilled ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon. he is personable, soft spoken, and very thorough with his eye examinations. He has an expert perspective and instills confidence in his diagnoses and patient management. You will not find a better retina doctor anywhere in the Western New York area.
I rate it a 3 because the surgery "worked" but I still can't see well!!! PS they take a year to call you in!
