Dr Larkin is very reassuring and kind. He explains everything very well and you don’t feel rushed. I would highly recommend him for knee replacement surgery.
It's clear he is a technical expert but a great surgeon is more than that. When I needed reassurance about my recoveries I got so much more, unsolicited caring and constructive advice that carried me through the inevitable ups and downs after surgery. And his whole care team is fantastic!

I picked Dr.Larkin because of his reviews here. I didn’t spend much time with Dr. Larkin before my hip replacement surgery, but his assistant Maggie is excellent at calling back quickly when I had questions. The surgery seems to have gone really well and much better than a friend who had surgery on the Western Slope on the same day I did.
Dr. Larkin made the entire knee replacement procedure as perfect as it possibly could have been. He took all the time I needed at every visit to listen to my questions and answer thoroughly and quell concerns and fears, and his bedside manner before, during, and after surgery was the best. He was so kind and compassionate. He also did cool things like line up my skin on both sides of the incision for perfect alignment of my skin so that the scar is minimal. Dr. Larkin is very knowledgeable about the types lubricant shots (including Gel One) to relieve pain when close to bone on bone.
