I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Groat. He could not have been any nicer. Had my surgery at Atlantic Surgicenter and everyone there was so kind and helpful. Dr Groat did an amazing job and my vision is so much better.

Dr Groat is a tremendously talented and skilllful cataract surgeon. He is extremely knowledgeable of the most current and state of the art technology and procedures. He devoted all the time needed to explain the procedure and answer all my questions. His entire office staff are first rate. My experiences with Chetta, Sara, and Paige were outstanding.

Very unprofessional atmosphere during my surgery. Rude and confrontational at my follow up appointment. Had to ask him several times to please complete my exam.

He actually listens to me when I come to see him. And he cares about how I'm doing

I have had a corneal disease for years and have been under Dr Groat's care for a couple of years. Recently needed penetrating keratoplasty and Dr groat did the surgery. Very pleased.

Outstanding MD

My first appointment was somewhat of an emergency and was grateful the staff got me in, my total time in the office was 1 hour 45 minutes, which I expected since they squeezed me in. My follow up appointment, however, was a scheduled appointment. I was shuffled from one room to another and after 90 minutes was still not seen by the doctor. One of the staff members said this was standard practice, 1-1/2 to 2 hours, for an appointment. I won't be returning, my time is valuable also.
