Hip replacement on Feb. 22, 2014, continuing pain, on follow up visit Dr. Burke said I needed to walk more to overcome pain. Couldn't fully lift right leg. A lump appeared on scar which was cleaned out, BUT a MASSIVE INFECTION was discovered which had been festering a long time. Have been told if a simple blood test was done at time of my complaint the infection would have been discovered and cleared out. I'm now in a wheelchair and on antibiotics for the rest of my life. Would never recom

This is not at all an accurate accounting of what occurred post-operatively. Furthermore, my surgical infection rate is less than .04 percent.
Took excellent care of my father, and couldn't have ask for a nicer doctor. Re hip replacement.
