Did not listen to me regarding my medical history or read past history I furnished. Treated me like I was stupid and not aware of my own body; tested ankle reflexes through heavy boots! When I told him his solution ( only sleep once or twice a week) did not make for much of a lifestyle) he said "I am sorry you feel that way". When when I scheduled my appointment the staff referred me to this Doctor, but he said he did not treat my concerns. Terrible experience all around!
I had an auto accident, and this doctor was recommended by another neurologist who did not want to examine me even on a referral from the emergency room doc. Dr. Chapman seemed distant and uncaring, and did not explain the test procedures to me.
I have found Dr.Chapman to be a very uncaring, not listening well when we try to tell him some of the latest symptoms for me. Like we are suppose to know all about Multiple Sclerosis. He always seems in a hurry, but is that fair to the patients? There are resources on-line, magazines, etc. but what about your own neurologist informing you about what can happen and what to do about it?? Very unsatisfied, and SOME of the office staff are exceptionally RUDE!!
