A week after my colonoscopy, got a call from a nurse from Kovacs office saying that the biopsy specimen took out during my colonoscopy lost right after procedure. No call or explanation from the physician until a month after I repeatedly request an update from him. Never go back to him again
Very professional. Easy to talk to. His staff is excellent especially his PA, Rachel Dorsett.

I have been a patient of Dr Kovacs for a few years but did not realize just how important he would be in my life until he took care of my elderly mother. She came into the hospital with a complicated problem. Dr Kovacs was on call and came in without any complaint at 2 am to see her. He took care of her with the greatest of compassion despite the hour, performed what turned out to be a life saving procedure when she became septic in the ICU and stayed after to talk to me and my husband.
When my mother was dying, other doctors wrote her off. Dr Kovacs came in with a fresh set of eyes and positive attitude. He talked to me for 45 minutes in the middle of the night after her procedure and I am happy to say she is still alive today. Dr Kovacs is one of my favorite doctors in town. He was very kind to me and I really appreciate his bedside manner.
Nice guy with a great sense of humor, but he pushed for a procedure and then didn't talk to wife waiting in the waiting room nor did he do a follow up with the results of the procedure afterward. It took three phone calls to office to sort out why he did not call us and fill us in with the results. Finally we spoke to him, but Jeeze...Office staff is a mess. Would go somewhere else, too inefficient.
Friendly, efficient, and thorough. I also learned that he is practiced in that his staff said they do upward of 12 colonoscopies a day. There are three M.D. in the practice. He performed a colonoscopy on me after I received a "positive" result from a Cologuard test.
