Medically, the care was good. The office does not accept Medicare assignment of benefits, so each visit incurs an out-of-pocket charge. This was not clearly explained to us when we started going to this group of opthalmologists. If you are on a tight budget, chose an eye doctor who takes Medicare assignment of benefits.
Dr. Kwako is amazing and I highly recommend him. He listens and is always willing to help. I'm able to quickly get appointments if I need them.
Great provider, always has a smile. Makes sure both I and my 12 year old son understand what he's talking about. Love how he describes everything to my son so well. Makes him feel included Wich he should, it's his body.
He cares and is extremely competent
We really liked Dr. Hosono and are going to miss him. He always took into account what I was saying and collaborated with us to order lab tests, etc. He also has a good bed side manner with patients.
For about 7 years, I've had my annual check-ups with Dr. Kozak as my primary doctor. Not only is he a great guy who is out there doing good work for charitable causes and helping others locally through medicine, but he's been partially responsible for my eating better, and exercising regularly. He looked me in the eye in my first check-up with him and said the words, 'You're done with that' when I mentioned that I ate at fast food restaurants a few times per week. I needed a specialist with a lot of experience to tell me what was going on. He took the time, looked at everything and knew exactly what was happening and told me the recourse that I had. He took the time to talk to me about everything and answer all of my questions.
Friendly staff,Excellent service, Very nice Dr. and open to my medication changes. Very pleased to go to this office since my Opthalmologist retired.
