They are an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care. They made sure that their qualifications were obvious. I was confident that I was under the care of a professional. I spend a little too much time in the waiting room. I've waited longer at other offices, but I was hoping to be seen sooner. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. If you're looking for a new OBGYN I recommend you go here. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The practice shares the parking lot with a busy hospital. It's not a huge lot so walking is not that big an issue and there is a patient drop-off drive thru at the door. They don't remember me by name but I don't expect them to because, apart from some surgery done in 2007, I only go in for my annual checkup. They've never dismissed any of my concerns as unimportant, and take every concern of mine very seriously. They are an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care. I have been using this clinic for 20 years from the time I conceived my child through her birth now into middle age after cervical cancer and a hysterectomy. Dr, Powel and her staff have always provided excellent care. Mary Matthews the nurse practioner is the person that diagnosed my cancer and a thyroid problem.
