Ear tube surgery for our at the time 2 year old, referral was quick, the lady doing the hearing test was so wonderful and accommodating, reception staff were lovely, and dr wickens was postive and uplifting surgery within 5 weeks and hes never been better!!!

Very disappointing experience with the reception staff. My appointment date was approaching, but I had to travel out of the country due to an emergency. I politely asked if it would be possible to swap my appointment with someone who may be waiting for an earlier slot, since there are often patients looking to move their appointments up. Instead of trying to help, I was repeatedly told that it would be "double work" for their office. After being brushed off by a previous ENT who told me I "just have sensitive hearing" and didn't bother to look in to it further, I came to Dr. Wickens for a second opinion. He checked it out and within a matter of minutes had an idea of what my condition may be. He scheduled me for a CT to confirm it, and he was right. Thankful to have encountered this doctor, I feel so much better just knowing I have an answer and how I can manage my symptoms.
I trusted this doctor after he performed a tonsillectomy on my older daughter years ago without complications. Unfortunately, my experience this time has been completely unacceptable. My 12-year-old daughter had a severe hemorrhage after her tonsillectomy and had to be treated in the ER by the on-call team. The situation did not end there.
