I trusted this doctor after he performed a tonsillectomy on my older daughter years ago without complications. Unfortunately, my experience this time has been completely unacceptable. Drove 2 hours for an appointment only to be told i didn't have appointment and when they confirmed i did, they said doctor can't see me because he is leaving early. Waste of time. Dodgy place.
After being brushed off by a previous ENT who told me I "just have sensitive hearing" and didn't bother to look in to it further, I came to Dr. Wickens for a second opinion. He checked it out and within a matter of minutes had an idea of what my condition may be. He scheduled me for a CT to confirm it. Thankful to have encountered this doctor, I feel so much better just knowing I might have an answer soon.
Dr.Wickens was amazing. I saw him today after being referred from another ENT. He explained everything to me and was the first specialist to visually explain my issue. He showed empathy and care. Thank you Dr. Wickens. My experience with you has been informing and reassuring. I thank you for helping me and am grateful you will be treating me now and in the future. My first surgery and I am NOT scared at all. Thank you once again
