My wife saw Dr Evans and was diagnosed with MS and he didn't seem to have much bedside manner and his receptionist was incompetent and rude, I don't think she could walk and chew gum at the same time
I was referred to Dr. Evans for stumbling issues. After many tests, he did not have any answers and referred me to U-M. This has been a very disappointing and expensive experience.
Very rude receptionist, talked over me. Didn’t return phone call nor inform me that they had sent my records. My 2nd call a week later to inquire again, the receptionist started with excuses… the office is closed on Friday, then closed on Monday for holiday, then finally said records were sent to Cleveland because they had requested them. Incredibly friendly staff! Dr. Evans reads your chart and obtains information re: his pt.'s before he sees you for the first time. He remembered more about me then I remembered. This man is amazingly kind and excellent at what he does. I would highly recommend him to anyone! I hope he continues to work and live in Traverse City.
Dr Evans is a great guy. Really. He is kind, patient, and understanding. He takes his time and does his best to help you. However, he has a tendency to talk AROUND your questions instead of answering them. I've left his office feeling more confused than when I went in. I've asked direct questions and I receive sort of a mish-mash answer - it sort of answers it, but yet, it's not a clear answer either. But he does try and isn't afraid to try different things or to refer you out, if necessary.
I have had chronic migraines since age 5. I have seen many different neurologists throughout my life. Dr. Brad Evans has been the best. He is kind, has great bedside manner and is a good listener. He doesn't give up and keeps trying different things until something helps. My migraines have improved and I'm very thankful to finally have such a great neurologist.
I have been seeing Dr. Evans for several years. He diagnosed my seizure disordered that struck me in my 50's and has also been treating me for headaches. He is a kind and gentle person and has been an excellent medication manager. He always spends adequate time and answers all of my husband and my questions. His office staff is kind and funny. They are always polite and efficient. I have enjoyed being a patient here and highly recommend this office to anyone in the Traverse City area.
