My first visit was great, he prescribed patches with Lidocaine for my lower back, which helped a bit, but still in pain even with Tramadol. I was looking forward to my second visit when I was told it was at their other office, did't even know he had another office and that they had made another appt for me at the end of January. This doctor didn't bother to try to help me. After telling me to go find a therapist in lieu of getting medical treatment, he left without even saying goodbye and was confused when I found this behavior rude and unacceptable.
I have been taking treatment for my lower back pain for over two years. Dr.Spektor is very knowledgeable and listens very patiently and treats my lower back very precisely.
From the moment we met him we knew he was knowledgeable, wanted to help and would follow through. Dr Spektor helped me with a nerve compressed issue and Kaiser had previously told me couldn't be done and they have no other viable options. I went to Emory and on the first visit Dr Spektor told me and my fiance everything we was hoping to hear without telling him what we wanted. I have been under the care of Dr. Spektor for a year and a half. I have fibromyalgia and RA. He is a wonderful doctor! He is very compassionate and sympathetic because of the pain that I am in every day. He doesn't believe that injections are always the answer for every patient. Really like him!
He did not care and was cold. Was not really listening.
