As someone who is not at all OK with needles and pretty soft when it comes to pain, its safe to say I was nervous about this procedure. No messing about, the Dr brings you into the office, asks you a couple of questions and before you know it you are up on the table with your pants down. Blokes - if you're hesitating, don't. In and out in 20 mins. 5 mins of that was sitting in the waiting room. Absolutely minimal pain, basically felt nothing the whole time. Small 1 second pinch when the needle goes in, plus some numbing gel. Ice packed for about 5 hours straight afterwards, followed by another 3 hours before bed. Minimal movement the same day.
