Management of hemochromatosis.
Dr. Modi is always very kind and understanding. He explains the lab results and the plans for treatment, as well as any changes or modification that he feels is necessary. He gives us enough time to answer any questions or concerns and is very thorough. We can highly recommend him to anyone seeking treatment.

Have had only two visits. Both ok but concerned that a diagnosis has not been pintpointed.
We write again...We have been seeing Dr. Modi since January of 2021. Dr. Modi is professional, practical, thorough, kind and patient. His prescribed course of treatment continues to extend my husband's life expectancy beyond the expected time frame for his diagnosis. We are grateful for his expertise, the treatments and the staff at Texas Oncology.
Dr. Modi like most the docs I have visisted this past 6 months treats me like a patient & not a person. I am a person w/ppl in my life that love me. I feel like he put me on an assembly line of patients w/the same diagnosis & who may similarly identify as me. I want to be treated like a person who has family that love them and would feel a definite void if I am no longer around. Dr. Modi has provided excellent care for me for nearly a year. He's been very personable and professional when explaining treatment options, scan results, etc. He's given me time to ask questions and has responded with explanations that are understandable. He's been a good problem solver when seeking to lessen some of the side effects from chemotherapy. Dr. Modi does an EXCELLENT job of explaining conditions (including visual depictions on the whiteboard which is SO HELPFUL!) and willingly/patiently answers questions. He demonstrates not only his expertise, but his kindness as well, each time I see him. I feel completely comfortable as his patient.
I have been blessed to have Dr. Modi as my hematologist for just over a year. I would recommend him many times over. He is professional, and extremely knowledgeable, being able to explain the complex medical issues simply.
