A very nice physician who listens to your concerns and address,s them. I have spoken to several people who he has treated and they have the same opinion as me. I would definitely recommend him.
I would not recommend Dr. Balar to anyone. I had test results pending, kept calling the office to find out results and was never called back. Finally found out results were there and a secretary called me to give me results. You would think that a doctor himself would call his patient back. I had many questions but still never received a return phone call. Go to someone who cares about your well being, not the money
Thank God we went w/our gut & transferred my husband's cancer care FROM Balar. The day after seeing Balar, our new Oncologist diagnosed my husband w/Pulmonary Embolism & blood clots in both legs. Also, the cancer metastasized & was more advanced than Balar indicated. Balar's infusion center looks dirty, understaffed & cramped; there's no obvious individual, comprehensive care. We felt lost in the shuffle. As Balar told my husband, quote, "you're not special". That was the final straw! Shameful!
Doctor Balar has been kind, patient and responsive in his care of my mother. Moreover in contrast to previous oncologist he did not write her off and tell us to call hospice.
Bad bed manners. Cares more about money than patient.
