Dr. Jordan is easy to talk to and has a good bed-side manner, but I would agree with other posts - she is always late and always rushed. I learned early that you should give yourself a three hour window if you have an appointment with her! As far as knowledge, I don't have a good impression. She misdiagnosed me TWICE - I gave her the benefit of the doubt the first time, as my symptoms were fairly vague, but after SEVERAl lab tests, the second misdiagnosis was a little ridiculous. . . On two separate occasions I have had to wait about two hours after my app't time. The app't was for a cholesterol follow-up. She spent about a minute with me - others patients in the waiting room said wait is ofter TOO LONG.
This doctor is the worst I have ever been to. She is never in her office, her staff is very rude and not helpful at all. She is the reason that I ended up having to have back surgery. She had no idea what she was doing and on several occations said there was nothing else she could do for me. She did not recommend me to anyone that could help me. She seemed very professional but very rushed. I waited nearly an hour to be seen and she was in and out in less than a minute. She came highly recommended by others but I wasn't all that impressed.
I like Dr. Beverly except that she's too rushed and doesn't really take time to listen. On my last visit there, I started telling her that I'd like to lose some weight. She told me that she'll give me a pamflet for Gold's Gym. Wonderful. I didn't even get to tell her that I don't know when I can possibly find time to go to a gym: a full time job, full time school and a baby at home means that I get about 5 hrs of sleep a night.
