In one word, “unprofessional” The doctor is supposed to recognize symptoms of an illness. With her extensive experience she should be able to diagnose a condition as common as pneumonia, but she didn’t, which resulted in a patient ending up in ICU. Obviously no longer using this doctor.
Absolutely the worst doctor I have ever been to. I had a viral infection of my liver (diagnosed by a specialist after I requested a referral) but she accused me of drinking or taking narcotics. She made false statements on my medical records. Staff actually lied to cover up misinformation they gave me. Condescending and abusive. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE AT ALL COST!!! Dr. Calkins is such a wonderful doctor. She is empathetic, attentive and very responsive. I’m very thankful for all of her help while trying to navigate some medical problems I’m recently facing. You can tell she really cares about her patients!
My sweetheart and I became patients of Dr. Calkins today. We are in awe! She is so very caring. The entire staff is great. It's been awhile since I have been to a Doctor who takes the time to listen. Thank you all!
