What a disappointment. Based on her own family's experience with spinal injuries, Dr. Grunch prides herself on being compassionate; but this couldn't be further from the truth. She never came to see my mother in the hospital after surgery. She never bothered to see her at post-op office visits, and she was incredibly rude to my family when they called her to inquire about post-op pain my mother was experiencing. Her lack of compassion and her poor bedside manner are incredibly disappointing.
I liked Dr. Grunch very much. I am almost 2 weeks post op from a cervical neck fusion. Both arms were going completely numb all night every night. From the first night post surgery, no more numbness! I am up and around and praying for complete healing!
Absolutely the best for backs!
Dr. Grunch has performed 3 surgeries on me. She performed 2 lumbar laminectomies to remove synovial cysts, and one ALIF. All were done with great care and results were fantastic. I can't describe how I felt after each one. After the first lumbar laminectomy, I required absolutely no pain medication at all. I would and have recommended her to everyone I know which have back pains requiring surgery, and there were quite a few.
Dr. Grunch is an excellent doctor. She takes the time to listen, explains in simple understanding language and answers all your questions. She genuinely cares about her patients.Her PA, Erica is very skilled and helps with her patients.

Very personable and concerned. Her P.A. is equally pleasant and effective.
