Dr Potkin was the doctor on call at my nephew's cardiology office. I reached him on a long holiday weekend because my nephew had an infection after having a heart valve replacement recently. We were told to immediately contact his cardiologist if this happened, because of the risk of endocarditis. Dr Potkin was rude, dismissive, and refused to call in a prescription for antibiotics. I would warn anyone to avoid this doctor. I ended up contacting the surgeon at Stanford for help.
By far my best experience with a doctor. Fast, efficient, and well versed.
Would not recommend!!! Poor communication. Too long of a wait for the scheduling of life threatening procedures. Office wait times over an hour beyond scheduled appointment time.
Was like being with an old long time friend.Made me feel at ease before going in to have my HEART shocked back in to rhythm 2009,In my book he is God sent.My God bless him an his family. Sin. Robert D Hennager.
